Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for switchboard projects, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Develop and submit competitive tender documents, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review technical drawings and project requirements.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing trends for electrical components and labor costs.
- Analyze project risks and propose cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate favorable terms.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and project documentation for future reference.
- Provide support during project execution to ensure adherence to budget and timeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimation, preferably in switchboard or panel board projects.
- Proficient in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or industry-specific tools).
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities for client and supplier interactions.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (relocation assistance provided).
