Responsibility
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and convert them into technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or other stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all electrical designs and revisions.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOM) and other project-related documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during project execution.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Drafter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
