Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate English language lessons to kids and junior students using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of diverse learners, including holiday program modules.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, games, and cultural events to enhance language immersion.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and continuously improve teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student development in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to build strong community relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
- Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) teaching English to children or young learners, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Excellent command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency) with clear pronunciation and communication skills.
- Passion for working with kids and the ability to create fun, educational, and inclusive learning experiences.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and digital tools to enhance student engagement.
- Cultural sensitivity and enthusiasm for living and working in Bali’s diverse communities.
- Willingness to commit to a contract-based role with potential for extension based on performance.
