Responsibility
- Oversee all engineering operations, including maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure upgrades to ensure uninterrupted resort functionality.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for capital expenditures (CAPEX), budgeting, and financial forecasting to align with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and building regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with resort management to integrate engineering solutions that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee energy management, sustainability initiatives, and cost-saving measures to reduce the resort’s environmental footprint.
- Provide technical expertise for new construction projects, renovations, and technology integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in engineering management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
- Proven track record in budget management, CAPEX planning, and large-scale project execution.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems in high-end facilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop engineering staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and risk mitigation.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other engineering software.
