Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data and AI strategy aligned with company goals, driving measurable business outcomes.
- Lead a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to build and deploy machine learning models, predictive analytics, and automation solutions.
- Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, local laws) and ethical AI practices.
- Identify emerging trends in AI/ML and recommend innovative tools or methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
- Mentor and upskill team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing AI/ML projects.
- Proven expertise in Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, or PyTorch and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong background in statistical modeling, NLP, or deep learning with a portfolio of successful implementations.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to prioritize high-impact initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional team leadership.
