Responsibility
- Contact debtors via phone, email, and written correspondence to arrange payment plans.
- Negotiate repayment terms and settlements with debtors while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update account statuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and ensure timely debt recovery.
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive financial discussions.
- Monitor and report on collection performance metrics to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve debt recovery rates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in debt collection, customer service, or a related financial role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
