Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians in the maintenance, repair, and installation of crane electrical systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of electrical components.
- Diagnose electrical faults in crane systems and oversee timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical safety standards, including OSHA and maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to plan and execute electrical upgrades or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of electrical spare parts.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments for all electrical systems under your supervision.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a vocational diploma with extensive experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in marine, port, or heavy machinery environments.
- Strong knowledge of crane electrical systems, PLCs, motors, control panels, and industrial automation.
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g., NFPA 70E) and familiarity with maritime electrical standards (e.g., SOLAS, IMO).
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in Badung, Bali, with flexibility for occasional travel or on-call duties.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
