Responsibility
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data, working closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Maintain accurate documentation of financial processes and reconciliation activities.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in financial reconciliation, month-end closing, or RTR processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
- Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Experience working in a multicultural or global team environment is a plus.
