Responsibility
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, software packages, and network connectivity tools.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and computer components.
- Assist in the setup of new workstations for onboarding employees.
- Document technical procedures and keep detailed logs of maintenance activities and hardware repairs.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement system security patches and firmware updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in computer hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical support.
- Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in hardware diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and apply logical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting and infrastructure cabling is a plus.
