Responsibility
- Provide personalized care to patients, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) and report any abnormalities to medical staff.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Administer basic medical treatments (e.g., wound care, medication reminders) under the supervision of nurses or doctors.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
- Follow infection control protocols and adhere to healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans for patients.
Qualifications
- A certificate or diploma in Nursing, Healthcare Assistance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience as a Healthcare Attendant, Nursing Aide, or Caregiver (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift or support patients (up to 20-25 kg) with proper techniques.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, hygiene standards, and patient care techniques.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
