Responsibility
- Provide personalized care to elderly residents, including assistance with daily activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility).
- Monitor and document health status, vital signs, and behavioral changes, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Assist with rehabilitation exercises and physical therapy under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Foster a supportive and engaging environment through social activities and emotional support.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in resident rooms and common areas in compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists to implement individualized care strategies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in elderly care, nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Certification in nursing (e.g., Perawat license for Indonesian candidates) or caregiver training.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for senior care.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, hygiene protocols, and infection control.
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting residents.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
