Responsibility
- Investigate and evaluate complex non-motor insurance claims (Property, Marine, Liability, etc.) to determine coverage and liability.
- Manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company service level agreements (SLAs).
- Negotiate fair and accurate settlements with claimants, brokers, and third parties.
- Proactively identify and implement strategies to reduce the volume of long outstanding claims.
- Coordinate with external surveyors, loss adjusters, and legal experts to gather necessary documentation and evidence.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim files within the digital management system.
- Ensure all claim handling processes comply with OJK regulations and internal corporate policies.
- Prepare regular reports on claim status, reserves, and potential risks for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience specifically in Non-MV (Non-Motor Vehicle) claims adjusting.
- Professional insurance certification (e.g., AAAIK, AAIK, or ANZIIF) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of general insurance products, policy wordings, and the Indonesian insurance market.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and insurance claims management software.
