Responsibility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, expenses, and payroll for the Australian client in compliance with local and international standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with precision and timeliness.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage administrative tasks such as document filing, correspondence, and scheduling for the finance team.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, or Australian accounting standards (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with clear communication skills.
- Experience working with international clients or in a remote/onsite hybrid role is a plus.
- Certifications (e.g., CPA, CPB) or additional training in bookkeeping are advantageous.
