As a BIM specialist, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to develop detailed digital representations of electrical systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration with broader project designs. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
- Create detailed shop drawings and construction documents based on architectural and engineering plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, contractors) to ensure model accuracy and project alignment.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues between electrical, mechanical, and structural components.
- Generate quantities and material takeoffs from BIM models to support cost estimation and procurement.
- Adhere to BIM execution plans (BEP) and project standards for consistency and compliance.
- Review and incorporate redlines and markups from stakeholders into revised models and drawings.
- Stay updated with BIM best practices and emerging technologies to enhance modeling efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent technical certification.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a BIM Modeler or CAD Technician in construction/engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM/CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, etc.) and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with BIM 360, Solibri, or similar collaboration platforms is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial visualization skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Badung, Bali and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
