Note: Remote/hybrid work options available for candidates based in Bali. Local tax and compliance knowledge is a plus but not required.
Responsibility
- Conduct financial audits, including risk assessments, internal controls testing, and compliance reviews.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local and international tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for clients across various industries.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or areas of concern in financial records and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior auditors and tax advisors to develop tax-efficient strategies for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and explain audit/tax findings.
- Support business development initiatives by building strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA certification is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in audit, tax, or accounting roles (internships considered for entry-level candidates).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, tax compliance, and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and regulations is advantageous but not required.
