Responsibility
- Conduct financial audits for Singapore-based clients in accordance with international accounting standards (e.g., SFRS, IFRS).
- Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in clientsâ financial processes and internal controls.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and actionable insights for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax and advisory, to deliver comprehensive audit solutions.
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting, or a related role (entry-level candidates with strong academic records will be considered).
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (SFRS, IFRS) and audit methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, audit software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA), and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with the team.
- Willingness to travel to Singapore for client engagements as needed (occasional travel).
