Responsibility
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with Malaysian financial reporting and auditing standards.
- Oversee the preparation of audit reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic financial advice and insights.
- Mentor and train junior audit staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies to enhance client financial health.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless audit processes and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian financial reporting standards (MFRS) and auditing practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team leadership.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in specialized financial services sectors is a plus.
