Responsibility

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end consumer research projects, ensuring high-quality insights that meet client objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic consultation and business-focused recommendations.
  • Analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data to identify market trends, white space opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple data sources into cohesive, compelling client presentations.
  • Drive commercial growth by identifying upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control standards to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related analytical field; MBA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or strategic consulting.
  • Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including survey design and data analytics software.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive strategic narratives for senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and talent development.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Deep understanding of the Malaysian retail and consumer goods landscape.
