As the Assistant QA Manager, you will support the Quality Assurance (QA) function by ensuring strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements. Responsibility
- Support the implementation and maintenance of GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other regulatory standards to ensure compliance across all manufacturing processes.
- Oversee daily QA/QC operations, including inspections, testing, and documentation, to ensure product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to identify and resolve quality issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Train and mentor QA/QC staff on best practices, procedures, and compliance requirements to enhance team performance.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, such as defect rates and customer feedback, to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality policies, procedures, and SOPs to align with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and suppliers to ensure compliance and resolve quality-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical, or health products industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, and other regulatory standards relevant to manufacturing.
- Experience with internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
- Proficient in using QA software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certification in HACCP, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
