Responsibility
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and mechanical systems on marine vessels.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and diesel engine issues.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of marine systems.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical components and systems.
- Document technical reports, maintenance logs, and repair procedures for compliance and future reference.
- Support the team in adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations during repair and maintenance activities.
- Participate in on-site and offshore repair projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine engineering and diesel engine technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in marine or diesel engine repair.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems, mechanical components, and marine vessel operations.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment for mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations for marine engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in Bali for on-site repairs and maintenance.
