Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including timely filing and payments
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth audits and tax assessments
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster professional growth and teamwork
- Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax laws to ensure organizational compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote/hybrid setting
