Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and inspections across agricultural and conservation sites.
- Lead and coordinate fire drills, emergency response training, and evacuation procedures for staff.
- Oversee the maintenance and readiness of fire suppression systems, equipment, and safety gear.
- Collaborate with local authorities and fire departments to ensure compliance and joint emergency preparedness.
- Manage post-fire rehabilitation projects, including land restoration and biodiversity recovery initiatives.
- Investigate fire incidents, document findings, and recommend preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
- Educate employees on fire safety best practices, hazard recognition, and environmental conservation principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire safety management, preferably in agriculture, conservation, or industrial settings.
- Certification in fire safety, emergency response, or occupational health and safety (OHS) is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in risk assessment, emergency planning, and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of local fire safety regulations and environmental compliance standards in Indonesia.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor and remote locations with physical demands as needed.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is required.
