Responsibility
- Assist in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of train systems, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety of train operations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement maintenance schedules and upgrade projects.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with industry best practices.
- Support the procurement and inventory management of spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in train maintenance, rail systems, or a similar engineering environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in rail transportation.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules and adapt to operational demands.
- Certification in rail safety or maintenance is a plus.
