Responsibility
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support organizational goals.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with operational and programmatic needs.
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure fiscal health.
- Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support grant management, fundraising initiatives, and donor reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience in the education or non-profit sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Power BI).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
