Responsibility
- Assist in the administration and management of project contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial terms.
- Support the preparation, review, and negotiation of contractual agreements with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Handle client claims, disputes, and variations, working closely with legal and project teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate invoicing, payments, and cost tracking.
- Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, including amendments, correspondence, and compliance records.
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support decision-making for ongoing and future projects.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and best practices in contract management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial and contracts management, preferably in Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Certifications such as CIPS, CPCM, or RICS are advantageous but not mandatory.
