Responsibility

  • Assist in the administration and management of project contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial terms.
  • Support the preparation, review, and negotiation of contractual agreements with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
  • Handle client claims, disputes, and variations, working closely with legal and project teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate invoicing, payments, and cost tracking.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, including amendments, correspondence, and compliance records.
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support decision-making for ongoing and future projects.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and best practices in contract management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial and contracts management, preferably in Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction industries.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
  • Certifications such as CIPS, CPCM, or RICS are advantageous but not mandatory.
