Responsibility
- Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and provide excellent service to clients.
- Prepare monthly aging reports and reconcile AR sub-ledgers with the general ledger.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize collections and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Conduct credit checks and manage credit limit approvals for new and existing clients.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collections.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict month-end deadlines.
- A proactive team player with the ability to improve existing manual processes.
