Responsibility
- Perform thorough pre-flight, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Verify adherence to FAA, EASA, or other regulatory requirements and internal quality protocols.
- Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Conduct tool and equipment calibration checks to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems.
- Ensure all materials and parts meet specified aerospace-grade standards before installation.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft quality control, aerospace manufacturing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, or equivalent) and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100).
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and assembly processes.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and inspection equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects or deviations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ CQI, Six Sigma) is a plus.
