Responsibility
- Process and manage invoices for clients in the logistics and healthcare sectors using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments to minimize outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with clients to address billing inquiries or disputes.
- Collaborate with the finance and logistics teams to streamline invoicing processes and improve cash flow management.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on accounts receivable status, including collections and outstanding balances.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, invoices, and payment receipts in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their billing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, Billing Specialist, or similar role in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable principles, including aging reports, collections, and cash application.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and records.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with the team.
- Experience in the logistics or healthcare industry is a plus, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries efficiently.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
