Responsibility
- Process and manage incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely posting to customer accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly recorded.
- Generate and send invoices to clients, following up on overdue payments to minimize outstanding balances.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and present monthly aging reports to management, highlighting trends and potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions and client communications.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, retail, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
