Responsibility
- Supervise and lead the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor transactions.
- Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable records, ensuring alignment with general ledger and financial statements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in AP operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payments to avoid disruptions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow related to accounts payable, optimizing payment schedules to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in all AP activities.
- Prepare and present reports on accounts payable metrics, aging analysis, and financial performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices in accounts payable operations.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are a plus.
