Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local tax regulations, and international financial standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize cash flow.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all payable transactions are accurately recorded.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the accounts payable function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and a track record of driving efficiency.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
