Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute timely payments through various methods (e.g., bank transfers, checks) while maintaining proper documentation.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless approval workflows for payment processing.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments to maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, general accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and management.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
