Responsibility
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries for prepayments, accruals, general expenses, and other accounting adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards (PSAK) and company policies, as well as adherence to tax regulations.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to general ledger, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (PSAK/IFRS) and tax regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with teams across different functions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
