Responsibility

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to align with organizational goals.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CPA certification is a plus).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate or conglomerate environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (MFRS/IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for collaboration with global teams.
  • Experience with multi-currency transactions and consolidation is an advantage.
