Responsibility

  • Perform daily accounting data entry and maintain accurate records in the accounting system.
  • Process supplier invoices, verify deliveries, and prepare payment vouchers.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor branch cash flow.
  • Manage and maintain the branch's petty cash fund, ensuring all expenses are properly documented.
  • Organize and maintain a systematic filing system for all financial records, invoices, and receipts.
  • Assist the Branch Manager and HQ Accounting team with month-end closing activities.
  • Handle general administrative duties and assist with audit queries as required.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM, STPM, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a retail or supermarket environment is an added advantage.
