As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our daily operations. You will support the branch management by handling primary bookkeeping, verifying daily cash flows, processing invoices, and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibility

  • Perform daily matching and verification of supplier invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
  • Process and record daily branch sales receipts, petty cash claims, and bank deposits accurately.
  • Prepare routine financial reconciliations, including bank statements and cash drawer audits.
  • Maintain a systematic, secure, and easily retrievable filing system for all invoices, receipts, and accounting vouchers.
  • Liaise with suppliers and the Headquarters' finance department to resolve billing discrepancies and payment queries.
  • Assist in preparing month-end closing reports and provide support during internal or external audits.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the branch manager.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least an SPM, STPM, LCCI, or a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or general clerical work is preferred, though fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of working with high volumes of transactions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Must be willing to work at our Jengka, Pahang branch on a full-time basis.
