Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, receipts, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals to ensure data integrity.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Manage petty cash transactions, expense claims, and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Support the finance team during internal and external audit preparations.
- Perform general administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as required by the department.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years preferred) in an Accounts Clerk or similar accounting support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, SAP, or similar systems) is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
