As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in the month-end closing process, reconciliations, and supporting internal stakeholders across the North Asia region. Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for North Asia entities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify financial data accuracy across various ledgers.
- Support the finance team with month-end closing activities and audit preparations.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with regional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and provide ad-hoc financial reporting as required.
- Assist in tax filing preparations and regulatory reporting for relevant jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a professional qualification like ACCA/CPA).
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in a North Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with cross-border stakeholders effectively.
