Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and timely submission of tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.).
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Manage tax audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure accurate documentation for compliance purposes.
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance financial integrity.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA/CA is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management, preferably in the FMCG, beauty, or skincare industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, accounting standards (PSAK), and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is highly desirable.
