Drake International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Paranaque City. In this position, you will act as the cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring that all reporting is accurate, compliant, and delivered in a timely manner. You will lead accounting functions, manage complex tax filings, and provide strategic insights to management to drive organizational efficiency. Responsibility
- Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with local statutory regulations, tax filings (BIR), and financial reporting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the accounting department staff to maintain high performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal departments regarding financial inquiries.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and cash flow forecasting to support leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and current tax laws.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or Xero) and MS Excel.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure in an onsite professional setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and leadership capability.
