Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Hydro Power Plant.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth and successful audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in the energy sector or renewable energy industry is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other local languages is a bonus.
