Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily financial tasks.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company financial policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets and track operational expenses.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all entries are properly documented and verified.
- Implement and improve internal control procedures to mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA license is an advantage).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with supervisory exposure.
- Solid proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage a diverse team.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight financial reporting deadlines.
