Responsibility
- Manage and oversee general accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Process and verify financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with management.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
- Maintain and update financial records, documents, and databases using accounting software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and regulations is a plus.
