Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/PFRS.
- Direct the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to strict corporate deadlines.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous development and technical excellence.
- Manage tax filings and compliance activities to ensure the company remains in good standing with local regulatory bodies (BIR, SEC, LGU).
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit requirements to ensure clean and transparent reporting.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial data accuracy.
- Analyze financial trends and variances to provide actionable insights for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulatory compliance, and local accounting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into strategic business narratives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
