Responsibility
- Assist in daily accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key trends and discrepancies.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking for departmental projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus.
