Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
- Oversee inventory accounting and monitoring for trading operations, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
- Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and aging reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to track inventory movements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audits and internal reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a trading or retail environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
