Responsibility
- Manage the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and credit memos.
- Perform daily reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger to ensure high data integrity.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding debts and initiate collection efforts as required.
- Prepare periodic aging reports and financial statements for management review.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and logistics departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and audit preparations.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to resolve billing queries and ensure timely payments.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA).
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (ERP systems) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong sense of integrity and commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
