Responsibility
- Manage and execute daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial data and operational activities.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or multinational companies.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian or Mandarin is an advantage.
